PARADE UNITS AND PARKING

Parade units are asked to arrive at 9:00 - 9:30 so that there is plenty of time to find your location.

Your unit’s name will be on a paper plate along the driveway. The line up begins at THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL, at the looped driveway in front of the school (front of the parade) and leads to the bus garage at the rear of the school. There will be two or more people with clipboards and baseball caps that will help locate your area. To help with congestion, PLEASE enter school grounds via Harpending Ave.

New This Year:

Anyone IN A PIPE BAND that is in the parade is allowed free entrance to the Festival. All parade participants will need to pay the gate fee of $10.00. All kids are free.

PARADE PARKING:

We suggest groups park behind Washburn’s Plumbing in Parking Lot #1 on the map below, then share a ride to the school. Please take as few vehicles to the parking lots as possible.

Parking at the school: There are four lots at the school, One in the front and the rest in the rear. Additional parking is around the bus garage.

Parade floats, fire trucks and other vehicles will not go onto the festival grounds this year. You have two choices:

1) THESE VEHICLES WILL TURN LEFT AT THE BRIDGE JUST BEFORE BLACK ROCK, WHERE THEY CAN EITHER PROCEED UP GLENORA ROAD (Also called Saunders Rd.) . THEN TURN LEFT AGAIN ON EDWINA ST. AND RETURN TO THE SCHOOL

OR

2) YOU MAY ENTER PARKING LOT #1.

Walking units: If you are not attending the festival we ask that you meet your ride at Parking Lot #1 or return to the school.
